Purpose: Remember UI state such as theme preference, sidebar state, and dismissed notices.

AnalyticsConsent required

Purpose: Aggregate usage metrics to understand how people use Clawshift and improve the product.

Set before consent: No.

Examples: TBD — analytics tool not yet selected. This table will be updated when a tool is chosen.

Marketing / advertisingConsent required

Purpose: Conversion tracking and retargeting for paid advertising campaigns.

Set before consent: No. Consent must be obtained before any advertising pixel fires.

Examples: Google Ads conversion tag, Meta Pixel (not yet active).

Your consent choices

When you first visit Clawshift, a consent banner gives you per-category control. You can:

  • Accept all categories
  • Reject all non-essential categories
  • Choose per-category (analytics on, marketing off, etc.)
  • Withdraw or change your consent at any time

Reject-all is equally prominent as accept-all. No pre-ticked boxes. Consent is logged (who, when, which banner version) as required by GDPR Art. 7.
